Spunbond polyester fabric is an engineered product that is manufactured through a continuous filament process. The outcome of that process is a nonwoven reinforcement mat that is ideal reinforcement for roofing membranes. The mat provides good tensile strength, elongation and tear strength to a roof membrane, thereby yielding a level of performance which makes the polyester mats an excellent reinforcing material.

Nonwoven polyester reinforcement in roofing and waterproofing membranes enhances performance, improves tolerance of the dimensional changes of the substrates, and increases the puncture resistance of the bitumen compound/reinforcement composites.

The available area weights range from 120 grams/square meter to 300 grams/ square meter.
